30 settembre Week of September 21This week I finished the SWAT video for the Service Learning Fair. Also I continued working on the new majors page under acedemics. Also I am in the process of updated the business division sites. This week I will be taking pictures for the business sites. Tom also assigned me to redesign the Academics page. The business pages will be a priority this week. 29 settembre Logo and Studio Art I made our official SWAT logo by putting SWAT in red with a black outline and sent it to Dr. Davis so she can get our banner made. If anyone wants to see it, it is on Computer 6 on the desktop. For the rest of my time, I printed out a before page of the Studio Art page and I'm going to start making changes to this page. When I'm finished, I'll see if Tom Baker approves. 28 settembre Monday 28thAttended the weekly meeting, also worked on the communications pages today. Have not heard anything back from Dr. Young or Aimee Sapp about meeting to discuss thier pages, hopefully that can happen this week sometime. Linked all the courses, and did some redesigning with code and CSS style sheets. Meetings and Minutes Today at the meeting I took minutes. At 1:00 I met with Katricia about the church site she wants. She gave me a lot of information to start working with and will be sending me more later. After I met with her, I typed up the minutes for today and sent them out to everyone. Friday 9/25 11-12pm 1-2pmI tried to get the wireless to work on our laptop that's hooked up to the printer and then I got another wireless card and installed it on the computer. I then started cleaning that computer off of things we didn't need. The laptop now has wireless internet access!!
I also downloaded the Web Developer tool for Firefox on every computer. Wednesday 23 11-12PMToday I worked on making a flyer for the Service Learning fair. Also I tried to print out more business cards and most of the time I was fighting with the printer so it wouldn't eat them. 27 settembre Recycling WebsiteGot all the bin location information to Cassandra Strope . I will follow-up after their presentation Wednesday. Still compiling pictures and I need to meet with Tom probably Wednesday and Thursday. 25 settembre Week Sept. 20 This week I have done the following:
24 settembre Activities Yesterday I met with Scott and he showed me what I need to know on viper. Today I attended the Activities Fair from 12:30 - 1:30. Activities FairSet up the Activities Fair Booth with Dr. Davis. SWAT presented a Power Point video and had a few visitors to our table. we discussed ways to make our booth an interactive one for next year. Took booth down with Brad. Nice to have a new projector it works great! 23 settembre Week of sept 21 I held our weekly meeting. Also met with Tom Baker about some things that could be fixed with the communication pages. I did a bit of work on them for now, and I have e-mailed Dr. Young and Aimee Sapp to discuss things further on the communication pages. Tom said this would be a good idea instead of working blind. Hopefully I can meet with them sometime this week, if not then I will continue formatting the pages so they comply with the new WWU standards. Fri 9/18 11am-12pm; 1-2pmI worked on putting together the binders - Policies and Procedures, and Agenda and Minutes. I did this for both hours I worked. 22 settembre Misc. Today I went to pick up the laptop, but it's still not ready. If someone else wants to pick it up they can, or I will on Thursday before I come to the activities fair. I also hung up our new pictures on the bulletin board downstairs. I put the old ones in a folder on the shelf. Last, I sent out an e-mail about setting up a website for St. Alban's church, and I'm waiting for a response on that. I will also be meeting with Scott tomorrow so he can teach me a little more about viper and how the WWU site works. 21 settembre Meeting and WorkToday I attended the meeting and then tried to fix the wireless on our laptop. It wouldn't work so I took it to the Help Desk. They said it needed a lot of updates, and I am going to try to pick it up before I leave today if it's ready. If not, I'll pick it up tomorrow during my work hour.
Also, I printed out a Polices and Pocedures & Agenda and Minutes paper to stick into the SWAT binders so they look a little nicer. Last, I printed out my SWAT logos, and I'll be showing them at our next meeting. 20 settembre Tom Baker MeetingHad my meeting with Tom Baker on Tuesday at 2:30. Here are the agreements we made: Very informational meeting. He gave me A couple links to look at and pull ideas and stuff from. Alicia 18 settembre Wednesday 9/16 11am-12pmDr. D and I set up the projector and laptop. We had to move things around to get the picture we wanted on the wall. We then talked about moving the middle bookcase and Dr. D has sent in a request for it to be put in storage. I then cleaned everything off of it and moved it to other bookcases just in case our request gets approved. 17 settembre Thursday, September 17, 2009 Today I edited the mug shots of the SWAT members that we took Monday. Also the network was down for about an hour so I read some articles on CSS coding and design. I also worked on the SWAT video. It is almost finished, I thought I was going to get it done this week but Ill work on it this weekend and get it finished by the meeting on Monday. I am also in charge of redesigning the majors/minors page using divs and css. I worked from 11-2 today. WWU Site Today I print screened all of the WWU major pages I was assigned and have to fix because I want a copy of what the site looked like before I do anything different to them. I saved them because will be using them for my college portfolio. After I'm done with all of my sites, I will re-print screen them to show the after pictures. I also took down more notes on changes that can be made to the pages I was assigned. I'm hoping that on Monday someone can show me if I'm getting into the right files in order to start working on the site, and have someone show me all of the css used because I'm still not exactly sure. 16 settembre UpdateSo I was beat to setting up the projector and lap top. GREAT JOB to whomever got to it. I did organize the table back out from in front of the door. Week of Sept. 14-18This week I did the following in SWAT:
